Ashkarah is located on the corner of Orchard and Houston. It is a new establishment that looks like it wants to be the pilot in a chain. They sell Falafels, Veggie Burgers and a welcome new trend Belgian Fries yummy. Do not get it confused with Varraket that is not all vegetarian and is a already known staple. It is right next to the CheeseSteak Factory, keeping the trend of chain-esque food spots opening on houston. It is an all vegetarian falafel and vegetarian spot. For nazi vegetarians it is dope. I went there with my boy right after opening and he had a lamb shwarma from Varraket they would not let him in the restaurant. The price of the falafel is a little expensive around 4 to 5 dollars but for extra add ons like hummus and then babaganoush they lots of times will not charge you. The real attractiveness of this spot is this. Once you order an open salad bar is available with sauces too. They have everything you would want to add to your falafel from tahini to creamy garlic sauce and 2 different types of hot sauce and more. The service is always quick at this moment and the interior is spotless.
only downfall it closes at 4am.
thats all i will post pictures of this when possible.

Jay-z of the east village
I am going to start with a litle spot called 7a
you cant have hip-hop without jay-z and 7a is like jay at this point 10 years in the game or so and still going hard. The waitstaff is good at the spot but they lost a camron waiter to philadelphia earlier this year.
I suggest 7a on all counts for solid american fare with good veggie options vegan is not happening. The nachos seems to be a good choice but at the same time mozarella sticks are real good choice. the only downfall with 7a is like any good indie band once popularity reaches a good point shows can get crowded. still the spot is a legend and is a big part of my dj career.
now that i got that out of the way the fun shall begin later on this week with more indepth reviews and new spots.
